Credit and Debit Card Security Assured
At UK Wellness you don't have to worry about your credit or debit card safety. None of our customers has had an instance of fraudulent use of their credit or debit card whilst making purchases with us. We encrypt all personal information (including card details, name and address). This means that your information is protected by a unique key or code as it travels over the internet. Compared with the risks you take every day such as ordering over the phone, or handing over your card in a restaurant, where it can be quickly copied, online shopping is very safe indeed.
In the event of unauthorised use of your credit or debit card, most card issuers either cover all of the charges, or may limit your liability to £250. In this unlikely event, you must notify your card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.
How do I know the server is secure?
On the bottom of your web browser window is a little icon of a padlock (below left) - if it is unlocked, it is not safe to shop. Also the address of the website should change with an 's' appearing after the 'http' section (below right).
