Fibromyalgia Survey

We would very much appreciate your help with the completion of this survey so that we can get a nationwide feel for the condition.

From a small sample from one support group some interesting results are already starting to show:
  • It took 5 years or more to be diagnosed for an amazing 43% of those surveyed.
  • The most effective practitioner was the Rheumatologist with 20%, and then came the family GP with 16% and physiotherapists with 10%.
  • Interestingly if you added up all the "complementary practitioners" 31% put that as a first choice.
  • Overwhelmingly 75% of this group put research into the diagnosis and treatment of FM as the number one priority to focus on.

These results only represent a small sample - please contribute with your thoughts so that we can set an agenda for the majority of sufferers.
